With the coming of the 4th China-ASEAN Expo in this October, thirty-eight hotels that are accepting the guests during the expo in Nanning city, south China's Guangxi province, have adopted the "electronic fire protection supervisor" to eliminate the potential fire risks.
On July 29 morning, Nanning city fire protection network supervision center sit in the emergency associated management building sent a voice message prompting "Please confirm the fire warning", with a big red dot twinkling at the position of the 16th floor of a hotel. A person-in-charge of the emergency center said that the technicians were conducting tests on the fire detection alarm which had just been installed in one hotel on Jinzhou Road.
The "electronic fire protection supervisor" is a kind of fire detection alarm scientifically mounted in hotels, rooms and recreational places, and it can identify fire information depending on smoke density and temperature, then send warnings to the fire supervision center automatically. After the supervision center confirms the fire warning, it will contact the 119 command center in five minutes. Additionally, the "electronic fire protection supervisor" is also able to input the telephone numbers and mobile numbers of the on-duty hotel staff to the computer, in order to monitor the duty at any time, avoiding failure fire information due to the staff's dereliction.
